+ Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Strapt collects and uses Personal Data about you through the use of our Website, mobile applications, and through email, text, and other electronic communications between you and Strapt.



Strapt Inc., (“Strapt,” “we,” “our,” or “us,”) respects your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy (our “Privacy Policy”) describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the websites www.straptvending.com, https://strapt-vending.web.app (each, a “Website”), the Strapt Vending mobile application (our “Application”), and receive feminine hygiene products and services from our machine dispensers (collectively, our “Platform”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This policy applies to information we collect

  • on our Platform, including when you login using your information from third-party social media services;
  • in email, SMS text messages, and other electronic messages between you and our Platform; and
  • when you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this policy.

It does not apply to information collected by:

  • us through any other means, including on any other website operated by Strapt or any third-party; or
  • any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Platform.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Platform. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of our Platform after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates.

+ Children Under the Age of 13

Our Platform is not intended for children under the age of 13 and children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use our Platform. We will remove any information about a child under the age of 13 if we become aware of it.



Our Platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or on the Platform. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not register on the Platform, make any purchases through the Platform, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received Personal Data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from a child under 13, please contact us at legal@straptvending.com.

+ Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

We collect different types of information about you, including information that may directly identify you, information that is about you but individually does not personally identify you, and information that we combine with our other users. This includes information that we collect directly from you or through automated collection technologies.



Generally

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Platform (“Personal Data”), specifically information:

  • by which you may be personally identified, such as name, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, tokenized credit or debit card number (for payment purposes only);
  • that is about you but individually does not identify you, such as traffic data, location data, logs, referring/exit pages, date and time of your visit to our Platform, error information, clickstream data, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Platform, and the products purchased through the Platform; and/or
  • about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Platform and usage details.

We collect this information:

  • directly from you when you provide it to us;
  • from third-party social media services, when you use one of these services to register for an account and login; and
  • automatically as you navigate through or interact with the Platform. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons.


Information You Provide to Us

The information we collect on or through our Platform is:

  • information that you provide by filling in forms on our Platform. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Platform, purchasing products and using our machine dispensers. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Platform;
  • records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us;
  • your responses to surveys, sweepstakes, promotions and other contests; and
  • details of transactions you carry out through our Platform and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through our Platform. We do not receive your credit or debit card number. When you register for an account with us and provide your credit card information, our payment processor stores your credit card information, and we may only store a “token” representation of your credit card that identifies you for later purchases to our payment processor.


Social Media Services

If you register or log into your account through a third-party social media services, we will have access to some of your third-party account information from that service, such as your name and other information in that account, as authorized by that service. You have the ability to disable the connection between our Platform and your third-party social media services account at any time. We treat this information as Personal Data.


Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

As you navigate through and interact with our Platform, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns:

  • details of your interactions with or visits to our Platform. We collect traffic data, location data, logs, referring/exit pages, date and time of your visit to our Platform, location data, error information, clickstream data, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Platform; and
  • Information about your computer, mobile device, and internet connection, i.e. your IP address, operating system, and browser type and Application version information.

The information we collect automatically may include Personal Data, or we may maintain it or associate it with Personal Data we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. It helps us to improve our Platform and to deliver a better and more personalized service by enabling us to:

  • estimate our audience size and usage patterns;
  • determine from which of our machine dispensers you wish to obtain products;
  • store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our Platform according to your individual interests; and
  • recognize you when you return to our Platform.

The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:

  • Cookies (or browser cookies). We use cookies to receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with our Platform through your computer or mobile device. A “cookie” is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on the user's computer by the user's web browser while the user is browsing. On your computer, you may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser, and you may have similar capabilities on your mobile device in the preferences for your operating system or browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our website or use certain parts of our application. Unless you have adjusted your browser or operating system setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Website or use our Application.
  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”) to collect certain information relating to your use of the Platform. Google Analytics uses cookies to help the Platform analyze how users use the site. You can find out more about how Google uses data when you visit our Platform by visiting “How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps”, (located at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
  • Google Advertising. We use Google Advertising cookies, a behavioral advertising service and remarketing program. This allows us to reach people who previously used the Platform, and match those people with the appropriate message on other online services. If you want to opt-out of the display of our online advertising on other online services that is based on your interactions with the Platform, then please click the preference icon that may appear on such advertising.
  • QR Codes (Barcodes) on Machine Dispensers. QR Codes are square images consisting of a black and white pattern. We place these QR Codes on our machine dispensers to understand from what machine dispenser in our network you would like to receive a product. You can scan the QR code by opening the camera application on your mobile device and pointing your camera at the QR code. You can then click on the link that appears on the screen to access the Platform. You may also scan a QR Code on a machine dispenser from within our Application using the “scan” feature to inquire about the products currently available at that machine dispenser.
  • Web Beacons. Pages of our Website and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit Strapt, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).

Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the Platform are served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Platform. The information they collect may be associated with your Personal Data or they may collect information, including Personal Data, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.

We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly. We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any Personal Data:

  • to provide you with access to our Platform and the contents and products available on the Platform;
  • to provide you with information, products, or services that you request on or through the Platform;
  • to provide, support, personalize, and develop our Platform, products, and services;
  • to create, maintain, customize, and secure your account with us;
  • to process your requests, purchases, transactions, and payments and prevent transactional fraud;
  • to administer surveys, sweepstakes, promotions, and other contests;
  • to personalize your Platform experience and to deliver content and product and service offerings relevant to your interests, including targeted offers and ads through our Platform, third-party sites, and via email or text message (with your consent, where required by law);
  • to help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our Platform, products and services, databases and other technology assets, and business;
  • for testing, research, analysis, and product development, including to develop and improve our Platform, products, and services;
  • to provide you with support and to respond to your inquiries, including to investigate and address your concerns and monitor and improve our responses;
  • to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from our End User License Agreement and any other contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection;
  • to provide you with notices about your account;
  • to fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it;
  • in any other way we may describe when you provide the information; and
  • for any other purpose with your consent.

We may also use your information to contact you about our own and third-parties’ goods and services that may be of interest to you. This means that if you sign up to Strapt's platform, you are opting into receive promotional emails, newsletters, special offers, and other marketing communications from Strapt and our partner companies whose products or brands you engage with. Should you wish to opt-out of receiving such communications, you may do so at any time by logging into the Strapt Platform and adjusting your user preferences on your “Profile Page,” or by clicking the unsubscribe link located at the bottom of every non-transactional email, or by contacting Strapt or the relevant partner's customer service teams directly. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for your opt-out request to be processed. For more information, see Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information.

We may use the information we have collected from you to enable us to display advertisements to our advertisers’ target audiences. Even though we do not disclose your Personal Data for these purposes without your consent, if you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement, the advertiser may assume that you meet its target criteria.

We do not share, sell, or otherwise disclose your Personal Data for purposes other than those outlined in this Privacy Policy. However, we may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. We may disclose Personal Data that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • to our business partners whose products we offer through the Platform;
  • to property owners or businesses in whose property we have placed a machine dispenser;
  • to our subsidiaries and affiliates;
  • to contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business, such as IT services and payment processing services. We may use Stripe or Paypal for payment processing.   • to a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Strapt’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Strapt Inc., about our Platform’s users is among the assets transferred;
  • to third parties to market their products or services to you if you have not opted out of these disclosures. For more information, see Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information;
  • to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it;
  • for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information; and
  • with your consent.

We may also disclose your Personal Data:

  • to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request;
  • to enforce or apply our End User License Agreement (EULA) and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes; and
  • if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Strapt, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

+ Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We offer you choices on how you can opt out of our use of tracking technology, disclosure of your Personal Data for third-parties to advertise to you, our advertising to you, and other targeted advertising.



We do not control the collection and use of your information collected by third parties described above in Disclosure of Your Information. When possible, these organizations are under contractual obligations to use this data only for providing the services to us and to maintain this information strictly confidential. These third parties may, however, aggregate the information they collect with information from their other customers for their own purposes. In addition, we strive to provide you with choices regarding the Personal Data you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with control over your Personal Data:

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
  • Disclosure of Your Information for Third-Party Advertising. If you have not opted-out, we may share your Personal Data with unaffiliated or non-agent third parties for promotional purposes. If you wish to opt-out of receiving such communications, you may do so at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of these communications or by contacting us at the contact information below.
  • Promotional Offers from Strapt. If you have not opted-out, we will use your email address to promote our own or third parties’ products and services. If you wish to opt-out of receiving such communications, you may do so at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of these communications or by contacting us at the contact information below. This opt out does not apply to communications to you by us as a result of a product purchase or other transactions.

You can learn more about interest-based advertisements and your opt-out rights and options from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on its website (www.networkadvertising.org) and from members of the Digital Advertising Alliance on its website (www.aboutads.info). We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can also opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the NAI on its website.

+ Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Data

You may review and change your Personal Data by logging into the Website(s) or the Application(s) and visiting your account preferences page or by contacting us at any time.

You may contact us through the contact information below to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. When applicable, we cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your account with us. We may not accommodate a request to delete or change information if we believe the deletion or change would impact record retention or other operational requirements (such as email opt-out preferences), violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

+ Your California Privacy Rights

Under some circumstances, California law may provide you with the right to obtain a list of third parties (if any) that we provide your Personal Data to for their own direct marketing purposes.



California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (California’s “Shine the Light” law) permits users of our Platform that are California residents and who provide Personal Data in obtaining products and services for personal, family, or household use to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Data to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. If applicable, this information would include the categories of Personal Data and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared your Personal Data with for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g. requests made in 2021 will receive information regarding such activities in 2020). + Do Not Track Signals

We may use automated data collection technologies to track you across websites. We do not honor do-not-track signals that may be sent by some browsers.



We also may use automated data collection technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services (behavioral tracking). Some web browsers permit you to broadcast a signal to websites and online services indicating a preference that they “do not track” your online activities. At this time, we do not honor such signals and we do not modify what information we collect or how we use that information based upon whether such a signal is broadcast or received by us.

+ Data Security

Information transmitted over the Internet is not completely secure, but we do our best to protect your Personal Data. You can help protect your Personal Data and other information by keeping your password to our Platform confidential.

We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Data from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Platform, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Data transmitted to our Platform. Any transmission of Personal Data is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Platform.

We will post any changes to our Privacy Policy on our Platform. If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy, we may notify you of such changes through your contact information and invite you to review the changes.



We may change this Privacy Policy at any time. It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page with a notice that the Privacy Policy has been updated on the Website’s home page or the Application’s home screen. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ Personal Data, we will notify you by email to the email address specified in your account and/or through a notice on the Website’s home page or the Application’s home screen. The date this Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our Platform and reviewing this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.
